One Year of Photos

May 5, 2007

As nothing lasts forever, the one-year anniversary of Alexandria Daily Photo brings this photoblog to a conclusion. It’s been a lot of fun recording Alexandria for the last 365 days, but I have other areas to explore photographically and other interests are taking up my time. This slide show brings you some of the highlights of Alexandria Daily Photo over the past year.

If you’re interested in my photography and want to see what I’m up to lately, check the Blogroll links in the sidebar. I’ll update it with any new photoblogs I may have started or post a note here with a link. Any new photoblog I might do won’t be on a daily basis, though.

Thanks for stopping by!

This ornate column, beautiful even in its state of decline, graces the doorway of a lovely Old Town home. It is over 100 years old and will be replaced by a new column which replicates every detail. Homeowners of historic Old Town homes are bound by the Board of Architectural Review to maintain the integrity of the architectural style.

Footsteps to the Past

Footsteps to the Past is a local company offering historical walking tours of Old Town. The guides are always in costume, even in the hottest weather. It’s one of the most fun things you can do with a couple of spare hours.
