The skies were gray, the water murky green in this early morning shot. There was so little color in this scene to begin with that I turned it into sepia. I like it better than the original. Which one do you like better?

The Chart House restaurant on the marina has a built-in lighthouse. I don’t know whether it’s real or not.

Tropical storm Ernesto rolled into town yesterday. It started raining in the morning, and by early afternoon the Potomac River was overflowing. This is the foot of King Street. Shops and restaurants are only steps behind me. Hopefully the water won’t creep much further than this.
