Yesterday I was at work all day. Just as I was leaving, it started to snow heavily. I was alternately enchanted at how beautiful everything was and concerned about the drive home. I pulled over for a moment to take this photo near the Lincoln Memorial. I’m surprised the snowflakes didn’t show, as the snow was coming down so heavily it was almost a whiteout. Instead it just looks foggy, but it’s still a pretty scene.
Ten minutes later it was all over, and the rest of the drive back to Alexandria was easy.
Great shot.
the contrast between red and green light and the landscape is very good
I like the way the streetlamps glow — beautiful picture.
I like many things in this picture especially the trees. Very nice shot!
This is very beautiful, Marie. I especially like the spot of red tail-light! Drive carefully!!
A most-enchanting and intimate photo!
Great shot, love the contrast between the lights and the snow.
I like the way all the lights glow. It really does make an enchanted scene. I’m glad you had a safe ride home.
I love the lights in this scene (and I’m glad your trip home was uneventful!) Really pretty shot,
