The Chart House restaurant on the marina has a built-in lighthouse. I don’t know whether it’s real or not.

surperbe ce phare dans ce restaurant. c’est une bonne idee. on trouve à Paris (quartier de montparnasse) un restaurant avec un phare aussi.
surperbe this lighthouse in this restaurant. it is a good idea. one finds in Paris (district of montparnasse) a restaurant with a headlight too.
Nice composition. I like the dusky colors.
I wonder if it’s an historic remnant or a symbol? Lighthouses are great subjects for photos, too.
A happy new year in 2007 from Tokyo:-))
I’m 99.9 percent sure it’s a new construction, dating to when the marina was gentrified to pull in the tourists. It isn’t tall enough to be any use as a real lighthouse. If I were you, Marie, I’d give the retaurant a miss. Last time I ate there–admittedly several years ago–I was underwhelmed by the food and overwhelmed by the prices.
Passante, that’s what I thought, too, that it wasn’t tall enough to have ever been a real lighthouse. Unlikely I’ll ever eat there, not only because of the prices but because it’s a seafood restaurant. You know how I feel about seafood. 🙂
Thank you all, for visiting!
Love the blue!!!
