Continuing with the retro theme, we have this great dry cleaners sign that looks like it was right out of the 1950s.

    la maison est superbe, toute petite, un petit “flatiron” presque. continue de nous faire voir les anciennes enseignes, c’est superbe


    the house is superb, very small, small “a flatiron” almost. continuous to show to us the old signs, it is superb

    I wonder how Alexandria will address the Mt Vernon small area plan, will they keep the retro look-and-feel, or opt for some more modernization of the area.?

    They used to be my local dry cleaner when I lived a few minutes’ walk away.

    Olivier, I hadn’t noticed, but now that you mention it, it does have an odd shape.

    Topple, interesting question. I hope the residents go retro. It goes with the proliferation of 1930s bungalows in the area.
