Olivier, bon dimanche a vous aussi. J’espere que il ne fait pas trop froid chez vous. Ici, le froid commence.
Kate, I enjoy autumn completely. I like the cooler temperatures, I love the colors. I like the whole harvest theme and the pumpkins, which then become pumpkin pie. I like the smell of smoke from chimneys. I like Halloween. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it is all about family and counting your blessings, and it lacks the crass commercialism that Christmas has become. The fall is like getting ready to go to bed but just staying up in your jammies a while longer.
Those colors on that tree are simply lovely. They certainly brighten up a drab day.

She's passionate about Italy and knows how to wring the gusto out of every minute. Beautiful photos of Italy and an interesting travelogue at Melinda Trips.
belle photo d’automne, je te souhaite un bon dimanche
Despite the beauty, I reluctantly enjoy autumn because I know that the blast of winter follows it. The trees against the brick is VERY nice, tho!!
