Oh, my! This mural is breathtaking! It reminds me of some of the artwork on buildings in Mexico City. Can you tell us more about this project. It is so vivid!!

You are right, I had to look twice to find the artists. This is a great example of your making art of art being made.

You are an artist too, MaricMcC?

  5. Zsolt72 says:

Kate, I will see if I can find out a little bit more information.

Annie, “making art of art being made.” Very good! I’m not an artist in the sense that I know how to paint or draw very well. But I am an artist, according to the people who have bought my bead jewelry creations and to a lot of people who have seen my photography.

There will be one more image of this mural, now that it is finished. I will post that maybe next week (there’s a lot going on next week in ADP already!) and when I do, I will have the additional information I found out about the mural.

    Thank you all for coming!

I’m indebted to Marie McC of Alexandria Daily Photo for taking me to see this mural She featured it in the making on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8, and I posted briefly about it on Picturing Washington on Sept. 15.
