Christ Episcopal Church is Alexandria’s first church, built in 1773. The bell tower was constructed in 1818. At the time of construction, it was two blocks outside of Alexandria city limits, but now it’s got plenty of company. Both George Washington and Robert E. Lee were regular worshipers.
I really like the drama of the dark, threatening clouds behind the red brick.
I like this shot too! Great contrast, textures and angle! Really feels alive! 🙂
I like the colour saturation and detail.
