Cat Mail

Cat Mail

By a strange coincidence, not long after taking yesterday’s frogbox, on my way to do a little shopping at Bailey’s Corners, a shopping mall about five miles from home, I spied this cat mailbox on a road I’d taken many times. Until I had taken the photo of the frog mail box, I had never noticed it.

Unfortunately, I have no clever quotes, puns or tie-ins to add. So there you have it.

As much as I love the frog, I love this kitty even more. Too bad I don’t have a stand alone mail box, this would be so fun to have!

How about “the cat who swallowed the mail” (as opposed to the canary) that’s the best I can come up with!

Oh I love this kitten too!! Though I must say I also loved the little frog 😉

Like KAA, I’m not that fond of cats, but this is definitely a winner. I guess the mailman leaves cat-alogues in this mailbox!

Now as to your destination, is Bailey’s Corners somewhere between Bailey’s Crossroads and Seven Corners? (I know, I’m a smartass!)

  7. Curly says:

Mailboxes are not something we see in the U.K. but cat-flaps are! They are normally built into our front door. These are very unusual and I’m having a good giggle with the pictures you are showing us.

Thank you all for the visit and the compliments. I was so completely devoid of clever ideas for this one. Guess I was cat-atonic!

Puss on box was good, as was cat-alogues!

Passante, d-oh! Busted! A pox on my proofreading skills. It should have of course been Bailey’s Crossroads.
