More Than Just a Bakery

The Mediterranean Bakery is much more than a bakery. It’s an incredible international minimart. Though they are primarily a Middle East grocery store, you can find amazing gourmet imported foodstuffs here from the furthest four corners of the earth.

Fresh hummus, chutney, feta cheese, tortillas, pita bread, fresh ground spices…any exotic food or ingredient you can think of, Middle Eastern or not, they probably stock it. There’s a deli counter, too, where you can get halal meat. They also sell hot food which you can enjoy in a small dining area near the front of the store.

It would be easy to post a week’s worth of photos on The Mediterranean Bakery alone, but perhaps we’ll visit again another time. Tomorrow we’re going to another international food store in the West End.
