The Tale of Los Amigos

Los Amigos Restaurant

Wandering in Del Ray in search of ever more interesting local scenes to capture for the Daily Photo readership, I began to feel strangely weak. My watch pointed to two o’clock. I knew I had to find food, and fast. I looked around and saw this. The exterior had a nice vibe, and it seemed like it would be worth investigating. But when I stepped inside . . . If it works for Hollywood, I thought it might work for Daily Photo! I see it’s working already. 🙂

Eric, I feel like Oprah Winfrey with a special guest on the couch! Merci pour la visite!

Felicia, you’re welome! You had not only pretty pictures, but some interesting local slices of life that I really liked.

Edwin, I’m glad you enjoyed the Del Ray series. I was concerned all the houses might get a little monotonous.

Kris, it’s not Who Shot JR, but I will do my best to make it interesting! 🙂

    Thank you all for coming!

  7. Kim says:

Oh, I LOVE a mystery! Perhaps we have a new MFK Fisher blooming in our midst? ;^)

Marie, thank you very much for including 3 of my photos in your “Best Of” blog. I was pleasantly surprised. I think this is a really wonderful idea you had and appreciate all the time it must take to review Daily Photo family blogs and comment on your faves. It’s really helpful, too, in not missing shots from blogs we might not have been able to get to. With over 100, that’s more and more the case for me! Thanks!

Hmmm, a cliffhanger. Tantalizing! It’s several years since I went to Los Amigos, but it used to be very good, and if you didn’t get there very early or quite late, you stood in line for quite a while for a table — outside because there’s not much room for waiting inside.

Natalie, Kim and Dawn, guess I’ve been watching too much TV. I’m starting to learn their tricks. 

Passante, well, I was lucky when I got there, because ʥʚʄΏ #t&s(b4F @3vy*փ ֆצעהئ.
