These two buildings made up the expanded Gadsby’s Tavern and Restaurant. It was also an inn, where overnight guests not only shared a room, but the bed as well. There might even be more people sleeping on the floor. The restaurant (on the ground floor of the three-story building) is still in business and features colonial costumed servers.
