
Old Town’s secrets are guarded by beautiful doorways.

My imagination might be working overtime, but to me these look like strange little faces with plumed helmets.

At seven feet wide, this house on Queen Street is the skinniest in Alexandria. It was originally built in 1830 as a spite house: a dwelling constructed to block bothersome traffic through an alleyway.
The home, which has two stories and boasts a 345 foot living space, was bought for $135,000 in 1990.
